1. Information We Collect
We do not require registration, login, or account creation to use our service. We collect usage statistics and, if you enable rate alerts, the push subscription described below.
2. Usage Data
We use Umami Analytics and PostHog to measure page views, referring URLs, clicks, form interactions, and website performance. PostHog also records sessions for replay and captures browser errors to help us diagnose problems. Form input values are masked in replays; autocapture excludes element text and attributes. We do not record network request bodies, headers, or console logs. Query strings and fragments are removed from page and replay URLs. PostHog uses a temporary identifier held in memory that resets when the page reloads. We do not identify visitors or create user profiles. Analytics is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
3. Rate Alerts
If you turn on rate alerts, we store your browser's push subscription address (issued by your browser's push service, such as Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft), the currency you chose and how often you want alerts. We use this only to send rate notifications. Turning alerts off, or blocking notifications for this site, deletes it; addresses that the push service reports as expired are deleted automatically.
4. Cookies
PostHog is configured to keep analytics identifiers in memory, without analytics cookies or local storage. Your currency, theme, and rate alert preferences are stored locally in your browser. You can disable cookies without affecting your ability to use our rate comparison tools.
5. Third-Party Providers
Our site links to third-party remittance providers (Western Union, Wise, Remitly, etc.). These providers may collect their own data when you visit their websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
6. Data Security
Our website is served over HTTPS to encrypt data in transit. We implement standard security measures to protect our infrastructure.
7. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
